I was wondering if anyone has managed to do a clean install of Adobe Audition 3 on a Windows 10 PC.
I have a bought version AA 3 but this is no longer able to install as the verification server no longer works,
However I have downloaded the free ADBEAudition_ESD1_WWEFGJIS.exe version of AA3 which will just not install on My Windows 10.
Anyone managed to install the ADBEAudition_ESD1_WWEFGJIS.exe version on Windows 10 ?
Last days Audition 3.0 crashes when I use a filter to process a recording on my Windows 10 computer. Seems that it has to do with VST plugins but I haven't been able to find a solution. Happens since Windows Creators update was installed. Anyone who knows a solution?
I've been using Audition 3.0 for several years. When I'd open it, it looked like this
Today I clicked some wrong button somewhere and got a blank, empty window: Main, Transport, Time, Zoom, Selection/View, Sessions Properties are all missing.
How do I get them back? Is there some Default setting somewhere that sets up the window like above?

I use AA 3 and it reconize my VSTi correctly , but when i want to ear separatly two or more vsti , it is played at the same time ...
In midi track 1 i choose with sequencer VSL vienna symphonic special edition with one vsti , violins for example . it is played , and recording correctly
but if i want to record in another track a VSL vsti i play both at the same time . How to configure the midi mode on AA 3 ?
is there something ro read somewhere?

Is Adobe Audition 1.5 or 3.0 compatible with windows 8.1?
I am having difficulty finding the loop content for my former version of Audition 3.0. I've reactivated as I need to re create an old music track but after unzipping the loopology files and extracting, etc. I saw it installing yet afterwards cannot find the files?

Hiya! I use AA 3 and recently the drop down menus for the Graphic EQ and Studio Reverb have stopped working. For example, when I click the drop down menu on the Graphic EQ it drops down but it only says 'Graphic EQ'. None of the presets come down. Same with the Studio Reverb. It just says 'Studio Reverb'. It's a bit annoying as I use these two on alot of stuff and everything has kinda come to a screeching halt as a result. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Hey everybody. I just recently purchased an Alan and Heath Zed R16 recording console. It's gorgeous. It's connected to my computer through built-in firewire ports. The sends work perfectly and I love it. The only think I can't figure out is how to get the transport buttons on the console to work in Audition. It reads all the other MIDI buttons and nobs in the banks, but won't read the transport controls. How do I go about assigning the buttons to play, stop, FF, RW, and record? Thanks!!

I've got a huge problem with Audition 3.0: I can't record anything. In the Multitrack Session, the 'R'-Button is always grey so I can't prepare for the record (or whatever it is called in english). Also, when I check the Audio-Hardware-Settings (hope you know what I mean), there is no available input.
The problem has to be the program, because I can record with Audacity.
I'm using my onboard soundcard and a Shure livemic, so nothing special. System ist Win7.

i get this error when i save to a map drive it doesnt happen all the time

OS: Windows Vista Ultimate x64, SP1
I installed the Adobe Audition trial installer, as well as the Audition 3.0.1 patch. Both installs went very smooth.
Tried to run AA3, and get the "this is a trial version" message. Clicked Continue, splash screen comes up, and then the app itself finally shows up, but I get an error message right away:
Shutting Down: To continue working where you left off, please restart Audition.
After that, AA3 closes and I get:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error!
R6025 - pure virtual function call
As of yet, I have been unable to completely load the program even once.

I’m after some help in the internal settings of Adobe Audition 3.0 whilst I’m trying to run my condenser mic through my ART USB Dual Pre.
I have the USB Dual Pre all set up in my Windows 7 set up (it automatically becomes the default recording device when it’s plugged in), phantom power enabled, XLR cable plugged into the right socket of the two available (is there any difference? I’m just recording voice tracking for radio announcements), headphones plugged into the monitoring jack at the back. Levels are turned up enough that they will pick up the noise, if there was any.
I go to the “edit” tab in Adobe Audition 3.0, hit record and nothing comes up. I’m not getting any sound at all registered on the computer. I’ve downloaded and installed Asio4All, but can’t for the life of me figure out the configuration within the “Edit > Audio Hardware Setup” to make the damn thing pick up my voice. There’s mention of Audio Drivers (Asio4All or Audition 3.0 Windows Sound), USB Audio Codecs, Input/Output… it’s enough to make a man who’s not very good at this sort of thing cry (ie. Me).
Could anybody help a body out, please? I think I’ve done everything right except the configuration within Audition itself. A helping hand would be GREATLY appreciated.

I have Audition 1.5 on an old XP machine that is now retired. I purchased
the 3.0 upgrade and have the disc and manuals. I never installed it.
How can I install this on my new Windows 10 computer? If it's not
worth the trouble I guess I can install the 1.5 version on Win10 as I only
do basic audio editing.

Here's the thing: I've been using Audition 1.5 for ages on my ancient Gateway PC ( 350 MHz Pentium !! ) with Windows XP Professional, I added 2 PCI sound cards and have happily been recording 6 mikes / line inputs similtaneously. But I thought I'd speed up processing and so I bought a new Windows 7 desktop..... guess what, WIndows 7 doesn't allow use of more than one sound card ? So I bought a Dell Inspiron 530 with a 3 GHz processor, installed Audition and XP, tranferred my sound cards and drivers. Audition recognises the cards, but when I tested recording all inputs, only the line in on one card works ?? what's going on ? Looks like I'll have to stick with my old machine. Any solutions so I can record from 6 mikes ?
I cant even seem to find any way to select it in the program.
Have you had similar Problems? Can you tell me what i have to do to use it?
