DRUM LOOPS - VST plug in - for Audition ?

DRUM LOOPS VST plug in - for Audition ?
I am looking for a DRUM LOOPS VST or DIRECT X plug in that would work in Audition 3.0

Is there anyone that could guide me on this inguiry, I would really appreciate ?

I am a guitarist, not a drummer & I do not know how to built drum patterns:

--  I am looking for already made drum loops, (not drum beats that you have to built from nothing)

-- Drum loops with the possibility to CHANGE the SPEED of the loop

-- looking for quality Accoustic Drum loops of classic styles, offering a selection of different styles: Blues, jazz, rock, Funk,   (no RAP, no electro or heavy metal)

-- I am not equipped with MIDI or midi controller, I have no keyboard. So i would need a plug in VST- or Direct X that you can just drag & drop the WAVE LOOP  into the Audition track.

-- It would be great if the drum loops had options of drum pass, endings or some variations on the basic pattern so it is not always exactly the same beat from start to end.

-- I am looking for FREE or PAYING plug in if the price is reasonnable.

If anyone could guide me on this inquiry, it would be so great! Thanks immensely.

How do I make "right channel" audio the source for MONO recording rather than "left channel" audio?

I have lost left channel audio out of my mic preamp and have to move my mic input to the right channel.

Audition is not recognizing audio from the right side to make MONO recordings.

How do I make Audition use right side audio instead of left?
I'm using Audition 1.5

Audition won't roll. Can't play or record. help?

Audition 2 has stopped all transport. I can import files, and highlight selections. But when I hit the play arrow or the record button, nothing happens. No movement. I can't record or playback anything. I've re-installed from disc twice. No change. Also, although I can select, and copy, paste and delete, the effects menu is ghosted and inoperative. This is catastrophic failure, and I'm dead in the water. Have I inadvertantly changed a setting that gets copied from install to install? Is there a factory default install? Help! Please. There's work to do!

Why Does Adobe Audition Keep Generating Artifacts After Applying An Effect?

$

I use Adobe Audition 3.0, and recently I randomly started having problems with editing audio files.  Now whenever I apply any effect to an audio file in edit view, I can see in the spectral frequency display that after the effect is applied, artifacts in the form of extra noise have been added into my recording.  I do not ever remember it doing this before, and the more effects I add, the more noise it adds.  Even something as simple as applying a really light reverb effect will now add noise to the recording.  Also, I noticed that the same thing happens when I try to convert my recordings to a different sample rate or do an audio mixdown in multitrack view.  I've tried all different effects with many different recordings, and they all have this problem now.  I tried creating a blank recording with only silence that I generated and applied effects to the silence to see what would happen.  This also added extra noise to the originally silent recording.  This proves that something strange is going on with my effects and is not simply noise that was already in my recording being amplified too much, it really is adding extra noise that was not at all in the recording before. I have tried everything from restarting the computer, doing a system restore, did a virus scan (which found that a VST effect plugin I had downloaded from the internet had a virus.  I thought that maybe this could have corrupted Adobe Audition's effect .dll files, but the anti-virus software removing it still didn't help), and also completely uninstalling the program and reinstalling it.  Nothing has worked, so I do not know what else to do.  What could have made Adobe Audition, in particular its effects, stop working properly? Help!

multiple sound cards

Here's the thing: I've been using Audition 1.5 for ages on my ancient Gateway PC ( 350 MHz Pentium !! ) with Windows XP Professional,  I added 2 PCI sound cards and have happily been recording 6 mikes / line inputs similtaneously. But I thought I'd speed up processing and so I bought a new Windows 7 desktop..... guess what, WIndows 7 doesn't allow use of more than one sound card ?  So I bought a Dell Inspiron 530 with a 3 GHz processor, installed Audition and XP, tranferred my sound cards and drivers. Audition recognises the cards, but when I tested recording all inputs, only the line in on one card works ?? what's going on ? Looks like I'll have to stick with my old machine. Any solutions so I can record from 6 mikes ?

online activation of Audition 3 is no longer possible

For those who do not know - Adobe no longer has activation servers for AA3. Anyone know a workaround for not being able to activate AA3 anymore. I've had to do a new install. Disabling activation is quite an astonishing move by Adobe if this really is the case

thanks, Greg

Audition 3 with Lenovo T400 Conexant Drivers won'r record from microphone

$

I'm starting this as a new thread after finding no workable answers in a similar thread out there on this topic.

My company just upgraded my laptop from a Lenovo T43 to a T400 (running XP). Audition apparently does not like the Conexant hardware/driver included in this box, as it will not let me record from the microphone. (All other audio apps work fine in this respect, Captivate, Articulate, Sound Recorder, whatever.)

Other threads keep pointing to using the ASIO4ALL driver. tried that and things got worse. No ability to even arm a track (multitrack recording) for recording using that setup. It appears to record in Edit mode, but the waveform doesn't look correct (mostly spikes with gaps in between), and doesn't produce any audio on playback.

This pretty much sucks, as a lot of what I do involves recording audio narration for projects. I am currently working around this by using other apps to capture the audio, and then editing with Audition, but I much prefer using Audition for the recording itself.

Does anyone have a fix for this (aside from the ASIO4ALL "solution" mentioned above?). Has anyone actually gotten this (T400, Audition 3, Conexant Driver, XP) setup to work?

Thanks for any pointers.

Midi Sequencer takes FOREVER to load.

I've started getting into MIDI, and when I load the MIDI tradk (Alt+M) into the the multi-track session the track takes about 10-15 minutes to load.  This used to take seconds previously, so i'm not sure what's chaged.  Then when it does load, it loads to of every VST Plugins that I have.  Any reccomendations would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks,

Can I change record setting to 44100 Hz?

$

I've had Au 3.0 since it came out. I edit many files together from different sources, and everything else that comes to me is recorded in 44100hz. When I put things into multitrack, well, if you use Au 3.0 a lot than I would guess you're experiencing this annoying resampling that I'm experiencing. Because or recording with 48000 Hz, I need to resample to 44100 to make it compatible in multitrack. Very annoying. I usually forget (as I'm loading things into multitrack) and end up with many duplicate files.

So, I've dealt with this for a few years, but never thought to ask if it could be changed. I know I can (in preferences) change the bit rate (as I needed to upon beginning with Audition), but what about Hz?

Your help is much appreciated.

Also, is there truly no way to search JUST in Audition? Am I only allowed to "Search Forums"?... As in all forums? Tends to give non relatable information very often. Surely I'm doing it wrong.

Can I record with a USB Microphone (AT 2020) using Audition?

I just broke my microphone that plugged directly into my Realtec sound card that I had been using to record background dictation with Audition.

I was going to upgrade to a USB AT 2020, but I'm not sure Audition will recognize this.  My Audition is version 3.0 Build 7283.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Editing very large MP3 Files

$

Hello,

Sorry for my bad English! I am French!

I recently bought a Sony digital recorder (ICD-PX312) that records MP3 files.

I recorded my noisy neighbour, in continuous mode for three days. (I was not at home)

PX312 recorder has produced several files which maximum size is  511,845 kB corresponding to a lenght of 24H 15min.

Every file, checked with Mediainfo, have the same properties. (48kbps 44.1KHz)

I can read them with VLC media player without any problem, but I need to edit these files to keep only the interesting parts.

If I open (drag and drop or open file) these files with Audition 1.0 (I came from Cool-Edit), I found a very strange behavior.

The 24H 15min files are opened with a lenght of 1H and a half or so!.

I gave a try opening with Audition 3.0 and the result is strange too, and more "funny":

The lenght of one 24H15min file is 1H and a half

The lenght of another 24H 15min file is 21H or so.

In the Audition TMP directory, Audition has created several 4 GB temporay files that correspond to the limit of the WAV files.

I made a test with a 128kpbs, 44.1khz. This 511,845 kB file is  9H 5min long

Audition read it as 4H40min

The TMP file is 2,897,600 kB, far below the 4 GB limit

It seems Audition 1 and 3 (I read CS5 has the same problem too) does not share the WAV conversion very well.

Is it due to Audition itself or to the Fraunhofer MP3 codec?

Is there any workaround from Adobe?

As I am an AVS4YOU client, I tried AVS Audio Editor. It opens every file with the good lenght but does not have the needed editing functions. That demonstrates that it is possible to share very large files.

Many thanks in advance for any help or idea, because Audition is the editor I need!

Best Regards

I already have 1.5 on my computer. I want to upgrade to 3.0.1, but need to keep 1.5 operational until I know 3.0.1 works well with other software I have. Is this possible to do without conflict between the two versions? Thanks for any help anyone can offer!

Adobe audition could not find a supported audio device. Please check your device settings.

After install adobe audition 3.0 version (Legency version downloaded from official website), it can't start normally, a dialog shows the information as title and the application shut down automatically after click OK button.
