Yes i have the same problem with adobe audition 3.0 windows 7

 

first i goterror visual c++ run time error . ( old windows )

 

then i install new windows and every time i try to lunch adobe audition . stuck and error message

 

Adobe audition couldn't find supported audio hardware please check your audio settings

everything is connected my built in sound card and my M audio M track

Asio4all is also enabled both sound card (v2)

M track driver buffer size match with the asio driver

i have installed fl studio 11 producer audition , fl studio read my sound card normal i can hear my voice and music that's mean my sound card working well in and out ( but still something not working well for adobe

last step i did i  ordered original CD of adobe audition 3.0 and expecting it next week .

but it bother me because i love working in adobe product i don't want to record in any other software .

Any advice ???

Good day.  I am using Audition 3.0 on Windows Vista Pro 32 bit.  I have been using it since 2009 with no problem until today.  When I try to open the application, I get an error message "Adobe Audition could not find a supported audio device.  Please check your device settings".  I have checked all of my device settings and all are working.  Yesterday I ran my monthly hard drive cleanup and mistakenly selected to delete Office Setup Files.  I did not notice the warning until later today that deleting these files may affect the operation of software programs.  I have tried restoring backup files from my backup service, but no change.  I have been chatting with tech support with no luck.  They tell me to uninstall and reinstall.  I have created several shortcuts in Audition and would hate to lose them.  Is there any hope to get this problem resolved without reinstalling?  Thanks for any help.

When putting radio programs together, I'm adding .wav files to .mp3 files in the multitrack view in Audition 3.0 and they sound fine to start with.  When I export the file to mp3 and listen to it in the edit view the .wav spots that I added sound distorted, as if there are 2 or 3 spots playing on top of each other.  I go back to Multitrack view and they also now sound distorted.  The other thing that happens is that sometimes once I export something of say 10mins, it only saves the first 20 seconds or so!  It doesn't happen every time but it is quite often.  If I go to another computer it seems to work fine and nobody else I know seems to get this problem which makes me think it must be my laptop.  Any idea what is causing these issues?  Maybe my Audio hardware or sample rate?  Please help!  Thanks.

Hello!

It happened that I was saving a project when the program suddenly got frozen. Now each time I open that project the following message apears
"
Adobe has encountered an error.

and it frozen in "loadin sesion" windows

How can I fix this PROBLEM and reopen my project????????????

Ohter: Wich is the difference between saving as XML instead of SES????

Hi everyone, my question is can i record the addictive drums as it plays along with my song ? I set the temp o to match the song and change beats at the required times like verse,chorus etc and it sound great, i was owndering if while im doing it live there is a way to create a wav. track from it ?

My client wants ISR codes in the mastered files - as well as on mp3 files which will be made from the original wav files.

 

How do I do this in 1.5, in a way that the codes carry over into the mp3 files (to be posted for downloads)?

I am trying to save a .wav file as an mp3. file.  When I go to Save As and click on file type/Mp3, it asks me if I want to overwrite the current .wav file.  When I say yes, it saves it as a .wav file.  How do get it to save as a .mp3 file?  I'm certain that there is an easy way to do this, but I'm missing it.  Any help from this knowledgeable forum would be most appreciated.

When trying to start Adobe Audition 3, I get the following message:

I'm trying to resolve an issue with the Adobe Audition 3.0 Setup. I tried the Chat Support a few times, and they requested me to submit the problem to the forum for Professional Assistance. The issue is that the Setup window asks me for the serial number, and I tried my own serial number, and also the serial number provided in the download site (as the representative suggested) but they don't work. So if I can't finish the setup, I'm not able to perform the installation.

I recently purchased a new Dell Studio XPS 8100 running Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium.

 

I purchased Adobe Audition 3.0 and upgraded to 3.01.

 

Extract audio from CD does work at all -- it does not even open a window to choose a track.

 

If I try to use the open command, I see the tracks but it says file type .cda is not supported.

 

(All of the above work perfectly with my old XP computer.)

 

I know my new hardware is working well because I can extract a CD track to a .wav file using
Windows Media Player.  I can then opoen the .wav file in Audition and edit it.

 

What kind of dirty tricks is Microsoft Win 7 plalying on me?

 

Has anyone else had this problem?

 

Are there any patches to Audition or the OS to fix the problem?

HI,

I had Audition 3.0 running on my Windows 8 laptop, but when I upgraded to 8.1 Audition wouldn't run.  It said "An error has been detected with a required application library.  The product cannot continue.  Please reinstall."

 

Uninstalling and reinstalling leads to the same message.  Sometimes when Iinstall I get another error message,

 

"The instruction at 0x103371f referenced memory at 0x102271f.  The memory could not be written.  Click OK to terminate."

 

Any ideas?

I started all over with a new studio using old technology.

Windows 7 Home Premium OS

Adobe Audition 1.0

Behringer U-Phoria UMC202 USB audio interface.

 

All works together on my laptop with windows 7 but...

 

I get zero signs of input from Audition on my desktop with all the above mentioned programs, hardware and versions.

 

I have downloaded the drivers and updates and firmware for UMC202

I have set all the input and output specifications in Auditions preferences and the U-Phoria is set corectly.

 

Soooo,,, WTH????

 

Any advice, suggestions and/or comments are greatly apreciated.

Hello,

 

I am working with a .wav file of 8k sample rate, 16-bit, mono of a Skype conference call that was recorded through the computer. The wav is file is Microsoft ACM: Microsoft ADPCM. The audio quality of the original is not great, as you can imagine, but when I make my edits and convert to mp3 it sounds horrible. I don't know the technical term for it, but it sounds muffled and distorted--the effect you get when you cup your hand in front of your mouth and move it around while talking. I'm at a loss for what to do. Is there some setting I need to change before converting? I know it's a low sample rate (I usually work with 44.1K), would that contribute to the problem?

 

Any help is greatly appreciated!

DRUM LOOPS VST plug in - for Audition ?
I am looking for a DRUM LOOPS VST or DIRECT X plug in that would work in Audition 3.0

Is there anyone that could guide me on this inguiry, I would really appreciate ?

I am a guitarist, not a drummer & I do not know how to built drum patterns:

--  I am looking for already made drum loops, (not drum beats that you have to built from nothing)

-- Drum loops with the possibility to CHANGE the SPEED of the loop

-- looking for quality Accoustic Drum loops of classic styles, offering a selection of different styles: Blues, jazz, rock, Funk,   (no RAP, no electro or heavy metal)

-- I am not equipped with MIDI or midi controller, I have no keyboard. So i would need a plug in VST- or Direct X that you can just drag & drop the WAVE LOOP  into the Audition track.

-- It would be great if the drum loops had options of drum pass, endings or some variations on the basic pattern so it is not always exactly the same beat from start to end.

-- I am looking for FREE or PAYING plug in if the price is reasonnable.

Hello, I am using Audition 3.0.1 on 64 bit Windows 7,  I have a session that I have created that I want to mixdown to mp3.  In Export Audio Mixdown Options I select mp3PRO as type, 32 bit bit depth, stereo, and sample rate is 96000, In MP3/mp3pro encoder options I've selected constant bit rate, mp3, 128kbps, 44100hz, Stereo (24:0:1) options and left everything else alone.  When I click 'Save' I get a dialog saying "mp3pro cannot handle the current sample type.  Would you like to convert to 48000hz, stereo 32 bit and continue saving?".  I click yes.  The resulting mp3 file is twice as long timewise as my mix and only plays at half speed.  Is this a bug or should I be doing something differently?  Thanks.

I've been updating my studio, and have a new computer with more juice and a good 24-bit USB interface.  I want to record at 24-bit, but Audition has only 16 and 32-bit float.  I've read the manual and understand what that means.  I've also looked through the database, and find the past discussions on this somewhat confusing. 

 

What I really want to know is this: Will recording using the 32-bit float file setting work with a 24-bit interface?  Will anything be lost, distorted, etc.?  If not, where do the extra 8 bits of audio data come from when used?

Hello, Everyone!

 

I've just installed Audition 3.0 (upgraded from 1.5) on Windows Vista. Looks great, but when selecting a section of audio from the edit window for "Insert into Multitrack," it keeps putting the clip/selection on the next unused track instead of the track I've selected, despite what I do. Its all from one audio file and the clips are short, so it doesn't appear to be a time issue or difference in file type. I'm assuming its something simple relating to the mulittrack/edit window set-up I'm missing that I haven't seen yet.

 

Any Ideas?

 

Here are some pics below ...

 

Track is selected and marker line (or whatever its called) is at appropriate point, just like in Audition 1.5 (note highlighted track) ...

 

Then selection/clip is higlighted in Edit Window, then "Insert" is selected, ...

 

 

But puts clip here anyway (note highlighted clip) ...

 

So that's what's going on ... any suggestions?
